Kolonya (which is best translated as eau de cologne) has been a treasured symbol of Turkish hospitality and health since the Ottoman Empire, and used mainly as a refresher, perfume and effective hand disinfectant. This sweet-scented aroma made with citrus ingredients was the first thing our friends sprinkled on our hands as we entered their homes; when we finished meals at restaurants with family; or as we gathered in groups at our hotel on our travels.
Inspired to share this tradition of Kolonya, our freshly scented range of hand sanitisers is our take on traditional Turkish hospitality, coupled with our fondness for warmth, generosity and bringing people together.
Our Kolonya contains 75% isopropyl alcohol (v/v) and infused with 100% natural, peppermint oil sourced directly from India. And with just the right amount of plant-based glycerin to keep your hands moisturised after each use, we’re sure the strong, refreshing, mint aroma will take you back to the sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean.
